Brenda Benner Stables Summer Camps for 2016

Academy GirlLooking for a healthy summer activity for your horse-crazy kids? Brenda Benner Stables offers two Summer Camp sessions each year. Our first session is a four-day Day Camp. Our second session is a five-day Overnight Camp, which includes the option of attending a horse show at Longview Horse Park.

In 2016, we will offer:

  • SESSION ONE: May 31 – June 3
  • SESSION TWO: June 20- June 24 *

*Campers who participate in session 1 have the option of participating in the Longview Horse Show in Kansas City, MO.

Campers may participate in either overnight or day camps for either session. Cost is $85/day. Campers may choose to come all four days, or which days they want to attend (must be chosen in advance).

Camp includes two riding lessons per day, riding and driving, education on nutrition, farrier science and vet care. We also have field trips, trail rides and lots of horse time. Camper spots are limited and they fill up fast, so sign up soon using the form below!

CH Velvet King is High Point Hackney Pony Pleasure Driving for 2014!

As the points tallied out for 2014, a great year of showing, the game and incredible pony CH VELVET KING captured Saddle Horse Report’s High Point Hackney Pony Pleasure Driving title for owner and exhibitor Susan Courtney. This team dominated the circuit in 2014, accumulating championships at such prestigious shows as the Mid-America Mane Event in Springfield, IL, Boone County Fair in Columbia, MO, the Bridlespur MHSA Kick-Off Show in Lake St. Louis, MO and Reserve Championships at Calvary Episcopal Charity, Central States Benefit, Missouri State Fair and the St. Louis National Charity Show.

Radiant Doll Gets Rave Reviews at the 2014 American Royal

Radiant Doll and Brenda BennerRadiant Doll (The Extremist x Truly An Elegant Rose) and Brenda Benner rocked Kemper Arena at the recent American Royal Horse Show by winning the UPHA American Royal National Championship, as well as the UPHA Harness Pony Classic Reserve National Championship. This beautiful pony is owned by Susan J. Courtney of Lenexa, Kansas and she comes complete with her own cheering section at every show. Brenda Benner Stables is proud to train and guide the career of this fabulous pony and we look forward to many more great appearances in 2015!
